happy birthday andrew! andrew's getting some birthday pics taken early tomorrow, so i'll post them here as soon as i get them back. he's getting tall. about 3 ft tall and last i checked about 27 lbs. he's definitely got the lewis legs.

i got a cd w/over 70 photos! these are some of my favorites. i had fun learning to collage like this.

State budget/services--now updated(Thursday)

Looks like there's no state budget yet. It was only one vote away from it passing!! The cuts are starting today. Not sure how soon that means for services from the county. I've heard two different dates: March 15th & March 31st.

I found out yesterday that Andrew's not going to qualify for more speech therapy. He has to have at least 33% delay. At 15-18 months it was 37%. As of yesterday, it's 12-25%. All his progress has been within the past 2 months. School district won't offer anything until he's 2 years 9 months old.

New ways to communicate...

Hello family, hope everyone is doing well. I have noticed that we have all started to use facebook and I just wanted to let everyone know that I love and care about them, but I becoming a little overwhelmed by these new ways of "connecting" with people. I am becoming "friends" with a lot of old high school buddies, mission friends, and ward members that I would have never spoken to or seen again without the aid of this wonderful internet thing. With an ever increasing number of people to talk and chat with now, I have decided that I will use the blogs (Lewis and Heil) for family communication and facebook for the people I wouldn't normally get a chance to touch base with. I don't want to offend anyone, or have anyone thinking I don't want to be "friends",I do want to keep family things separate from friends and I think the blogs offer more privacy to do that. Love to all,

Called to Serve...

Well, as you should all know now, I have been called to the Washington Spokane mission, speaking in the English language, serving a proselyting mission. I am to report to the MTC by April 15th.


Here is a map of my mission boundaries. (It's the area in green.) It goes into Canada (yay; i get to leave this crazy country.), Idaho and a bit of Montana.
